Session 33 - Will the real Aria Silvermist please stand up.

Aria was swapped for an imposter who is an Abishi, follows Tiamat. Aria is being tortured in hell.
 
The imposter cast globe of invulnerability on itself so we could no longer affect it. Then teleported away.
 
We hear a dragon outside.
 
 
Ashe is wheeled away Glum chases after her.
 
Elias grabbed the sword and spoke with Shar. She leads him to believe it’s ok that the sword was taken, it’s his now. He just has to ‘finish what he started’ he believes that means to kill his uncle.
 
As he leaves with the sword he runs into Oska, his sister. She disabled all the traps so Elias could get away.
 
He asks why she’s working with Pass’n when he’s a monster. He tries to convince her to work with him. They are their mother’s children. She eludes towards feeling abandoned by their mother, declares that the next time they meet it will be with swords, and vanishes.
 
Elias looks around the house and learns that the Hawkcleave crest is everywhere and Pass’n has a huge statue of himself in the garden.
 
Elias finds a false bottom in a desk drawer and finds a ritualistic sigil on a parchment. Weird drawing on the edges. Is the sigil used to send gold to Mamon.
 
 
Jo and Franz look around the council room and decide to go to try and help the people.
 
We run into Elias and speculate whats happening. Lodagraph is attacking the city the dome is down, it is afternoon and the attack has begun.
 
We aren’t sure but decide to go to the Captain and plan our next course of action.
 
 
We get to her and the rest of the council is yelling at the Captain.
 
Ashe joins us and we quickly update the captain on the Aria situation.
 
Commoners are following the soldiers orders to bring their gold to the capital.
 
Jo realizes that Lodagraph is flying weirdly, we then realize that they are carving the sigil to Mamon into the city (full metal alchemist style)
 
When he is 250 feet away Jo earthbinds him setting his fly speed to 0.
 
 
We run up Pass’n dispels Elias’ broom. And we enter into combat.
 
The goal is to to stop the sigil from being completed.
 
 
Turns out it was already complete,
 
It begins to glow as
 
Franz attempted to negotiate but it didn’t go anywhere.
 
He casts tiny hut and Jo turns into a badger to dig us out, we escape certain death into the sewers.
 
We see a secret door in the sewers and thanks to Elias’s theives guild key we are able to get in.
 
Jo nabs a cool rainbow orb.
 
We get duped by a tricky hallway and take some damage. The trick was only step on the stars except the last one. That’s a trap floor but all the other shapes are poison darts.
 
Elias got us in and we entered a rounded room where a pendulum of death dropped down on us.
 
On the other side is a similar hallway to the previous but without the symbols.
 
We work together to get accross
 
At the end is another door that is super heavy we pry it open enough for Ashe to go through as a mouse, she turns back and pulls the chain.
 
We get in but realize its a prison
 
The other door has a slide that opens and a guy talks with us.
 
Elias talks us into the room,
 
They work for Amelia, and we are waiting for her to get back, but she was killed by Elias
 
Another guy shows up and he knows Amelia is dead.
 
After some shenanigans, we realize that by killing Amelia Elias is the new head of the thieves guild. He takes up the mantle

Drew - Amelia’s almost right hand man
 
Treasure has all been moved Elias was told it’s under the Squeeky Wheel
 
Franz realizes that the girl Remish was hitting on at the SW was identical to Aria.
 
 
The dragon attack has stopped, we have 10 men Drew is keeping them in line.
 
Beverly is the barkeep and she had lost her memory at the same time that Aria became captain of the guard.
 
Elias walked her through how to cast minor illusion and she did so impeccably
 
 
We realize it really is Aria who lost her memories.
 
We start sharing ideas about how to maybe bring her memories back as we don’t currently have the capability magically, she realizes that the sad guy who sent her out of hell and back to the city gave her a scroll case that was magically locked, she showed it to us and Jo dispels the arcane lock and we realize the scroll is greater restoration.
