After Fip lost his love, Temperance, he started to drown himself and his feelings in ale. Each day Fip leaves the house to buy food for the day and 2 gallons of ale to drink that day. When Fip gets close to Alcohol Poisoning, he uses healing word to sober up enough to drink again. Once his 2 gallons are drunk, he starts to drink from his Tankard of Plenty to keep drinking until he runs out of ale for the day.
