Timber and I got info from Perry as to some possible locations to the drug dealer known as "Doc", who is one bad doctor. GENO is a nasty drug that's been causing chaos across the city, by giving its users super-powers. We visited several locations across the city, but didn't get a hit until we visited the last location. It was a warehouse that actually had the lights on and I overheard sounds of activity. As the Americans say, it wasn't my first rodeo or raid on a criminal operation- I've even raided government/law enforcement operations, but they were no better than the criminals. There wasn't much need to wait and I noticed that the operation had left their electrical box unguarded- it was the perfect time to cut the power so I did it with my claws. Timber was surprised by it, but there was enough time for him to transform and for me to climb onto the roof.
We dealt with the lookouts and foot soldiers for the operation with ease. I got to jump down on one and then throw him into another, while Timber took out the last one. We got a surprise visit from another vigilante, this one clad in red and driving an impressive motorcycle (what we call "boneys"). She introduced herself as "The Scarlet Sprite" and despite her initial suspicion, we found that we had common values and common enemies. She was aware of the LFER, but hadn't joined up just yet. We teamed up and cleaned out the lab- surprisingly Timber didn't have any kind of ability to see in the dark. I didn't have that problem.
We then had to deal with a pair of supers that were serving as henchmen for the bad doctor. One seemed to be a hybrid human-bear and the other had similar super-strength and toughness but without the fur. Timber took care of the first one, while I handled the latter. Both of them put up a fight but we managed to defeat them. Unfortunately, by the time I made it into Doc's office the bad doctor escaped. Scarlet Sprite attempted pursuit, but he had enough time to pull off a successful getaway. Thankfully, the drug lord was in a hurry and left his papers and computer behind him; so we snagged those for taking back to the safehouse.
We concluded the mission by extending an invite to the Scarlet Sprite, who shared our antipathy to the IERA. She followed us to the safehouse. She definitely has the enthusiasm and the right attitude, but I didn't really get much of a glimpse of her combat abilities. Her boney will be most useful for any need for extraction in the future.
