The Book Of Fallen Leaves - The Attendant of Tiune

I have manifested another gift of the God Tiune, and it is apparently another past life coming forth to manifest here. The night after the glowing form stepped out of me and became the fox I dreamed but I only was able to jot down scraps before they faded:
 
There is a memory of being a child with a lame foot. Traveling deep into the forest with my father. He carried me upon his back many days up into the mountains to a sheltered glade. There we came upon an ancient and gnarled tree in a hollow there we found an old man. I remember my father pleading to the ancient white haired fellow. My father was scared but I remember looking up into those kind eyes and him lifting me up into his arms then a soothing warmth. When he set me down my leg no longer pained me and I ran through the glade laughing and chasing the moths fluttering through the shade. I eventually returned to my father's side to here him pledging to serve the old man, not just him but our whole family line. The old man smiles and rested a hand on my head then he was gone and a great owl swooped away across the glade.
There is a gap of perhaps decades then I remember being a young adult. They carried blades and acted as body guard to a holy man, a priest and healer. We traveled many long roads and visited far off lands following the winds of Fate
