Continuation of Seasons of Changing
at the Fort
1) Structure
a) Northern wall collapsed.
b) South old rotting doors. Open.
c) Western and eastern standing and overgrown with plant life.
2) Wolf tracks.
3) Mid day approaching the southern entrance.
a) Hinges are rusting away, wood is in decent shape.
b) Hearing wolfs probably inside. We head to the west wall
and climb up.
c) Standing on top looking down into the courtyard.
4) In the Courtyard
a) Wolf Pack 3 adults (2 Female, 1 Male) + 8-9 pups.
b) Carving on the stone arch of southern entry.
i) Weird creature carving
ii) 4 claws/feet, tail, hump/wings, multiple heads?
iii) Found hatch that leads into the fort
c) Kaia speaks with the wolves
i) We are ok to explore until the rest of the pack returns.
5) Down the Hatch.
a) Kitchen
i) Big Iron cauldron over what once was a fire pit,
and cookware.
ii) Faded diamond banner, gold thread, sky-blue-gold-black
color scheme.
b) Trophy Room
i) Leather throws (boar skin?)
ii) Wall of animal skulls and broken weapons/armor
iii) Thomas picks up plate armor with black Arrow
(1) Teleported to a Battle Field (Winter post snowfall)
(2) Centaurs and Elves
(3) See the arrow launched by an Elf and hear the hit
(4) Returned to the trophy room.
(5) Ran home spooked
6) Back at town
a) Capitain Starin
i) Tell him about the fort and our vision.
ii) Showed him on map where the fort was.
iii) Fort was “The Den of the Chimera”
(1) Adventuring Guild used that as a base
(2) Showed pictures that resembled the carving I found
(3) Disbanded when the crown started incorporating
adventurers into The Imperial Expeditionary force.
(a) Some members joined the force others turned
away from the new regulations
iv) Fort is often found by the rebellious teens of each generation.
v) There is a blue wolf with the pack.
vi) Village keeping the fort a secret to avoid the empires
influence / eye
b) Talking to Mom
i) How common is magic out in the world
(1) Main temples and clerics 1-2 in towns more in cities
(2) Druids exist but are more fluid in movements/work

(1) Heard stories about them when younger.
(2) Were more like a fable/folk lore
7) The Logging camp
a) 5 new ironwood sprouts. None to be harvested.
b) Harvesting other trees is open with stone giants help
c) Starin talking to Logson

i) The chimera were evil
(1) Claims they assassinated the grandfarther of the king
(2) Hunted down for revenge
e) The young ironwood
i) Went to look at it, and somehow ended up pulling it out of
the ground
