Order of Oronaar
"By the Light!" -- Draenic Exclamation
Intro
Naming themselves the “Disciples of the Luminous Order of the Miracle at Oronaar”, this ancient Order’s origin is said to date back to the days of Old Argus - where a wondrous miracle transpired in the village of Oronaar. The nature of this miracle is shrouded in esoterism and mystery, known only to the few surviving elders of the disciples, survived only by a wizened and rarely seen cleric known only as Old Prodromos.Current Benevolence
The Luminous Order has become increasingly active across all Azeroth, attempting to both evangelize the population to the orthodoxy of their belief in the Holy Light - one marked by ancient rituals and veneration of the Naaru - and fighting what they consider the forces of evil and entropy. Though they are fierce warriors, they tend to favor peace among the mortal races - after all, the dead cannot be converted and ushered into the highest heavens - whilst avoiding open conflict with the Horde, the Order stands resolute in defense of Alliance territory and holdings. The teachings of forgiveness, compassion, and redemption can quickly be turned to terrible, righteous anger in the face of villainy, with the Praetor Hartuum standing as the militant leader and supreme commander of the disciples when they take to the field. The Order of Oronaar was involved in the creation, (and destruction), of the Stonewatch Concordat, after falling out with their Gnomish and Elvish brethren, Dwarven comrades especially over the death of a Modimi footsoldier. Several months after the disbandment of the Stonewatch Concordat, the Order took the initiative to reform it, under a new name and new leadership they and their allies formed the Azurewatch Concordat, in honor of the settlement where it was reformed. The Zangarmarshes Conflict
When the combined threat of the naga and leper gnomes within the Zangarmarshes became known the Order readied to meet this enemy along with their Concordat allies. The presence of the Horde however quickly complicated matters. The Order’s allies, foremost Cog Captain Railcraft of the Assemblage of Uld, were unwilling to cooperate with the Horde and tried to steer the rest of the Alliance into conflict with the Horde. Not only were negotiations openly sabotaged by the gnomes, but they also conducted attacks on the Horde camp in secret. The Horde’s reaction came swiftly and a retaliatory strike was carried out on Telredor, a draenic refuge atop one of the giant mushrooms that was used by the Alliance, endangering the lives of many civilians. Outrage followed when the Cog Captain’s treacherous actions came to light and the Order’s membership of the Concordat was briefly suspended by decree of the Mystagogue Prodromos. Despite this, the Order managed to continue its fight against naga, lepers, and Loyalists. Through a twist of fate, the Cog Captain’s actions even allowed for the Order to grow closer to some within the Horde, such as Cao Hao of the Ronin, through the shared condemnation of Railcraft’s reckless attacks. Tragedy struck however as during one of the final battles one of the Order’s most capable members, Justicar Vortel, was slain. He sacrificed his own life to bring down a mighty war machine piloted by one of the leper gnomes. Relations with the Assemblage of Uld were repaired after the end of the fighting as Cog Captain Railcraft was replaced by his second in command Ryder, after Railcraft was incapacitated by a massive dose of radiation. The Order chose to trust the Assemblage once more and their membership in the Concordat was reaffirmed. The Desecration of Auchindoun
At the end of the Zangarmarshes Conflict, when making their way back to Azeroth, the Order was called to Auchindoun. There were reports about Anchorites slain by Death Knights. The descriptions of these knights fitted those present in the Zangarmarshes just days prior. Investigation of the ruins also revealed that the dead were disturbed and their souls were stolen. The Oronaari swore to bring retribution to those responsible. When the Order was in Lordaeron a few weeks later they stumbled across one of the knights they believed to be responsible for this attack. The draenei acted swiftly and subdued the knight, a former scarlet crusader named Hugues Baer. During interrogation, the knight divulged that he was part of the raid on Auchindoun, but that he himself serves an undead blood elf, Commander Soulbane. The Order released Hugues Baer again to return to Soulbane and tell her that the Light’s retribution was coming for her.Strife in Silverpine
On a pilgrimage to the tomb of Uther the Lightbringer, who the Order honors as the first Vindicator of Azeroth, the dread necropolis Sylvarus was discovered by the Oronaari, hanging above Caer Darrow. Calling the other Concordat members, as well as the Sunnyglade Ratters mercenaries, to the Exodar, plans were quickly made on how to finally bring down the Loyalists. The plan proposed by Praetor Phaidros was for the Concordat to venture forth into Lordaeron and attempt to draw out the Loyalists by disrupting their supply lines. To this end, the various groups of the Concordat were to go directly into Forsaken settlements and seize any materials owned by those likely to be loyal to Sylvanas still. Praetor Phaidros willingly accepted that some of his allies may move against the Forsaken with more heavy-handed actions. Accepting this plan of action the Alliance forces marched to Lordaeron, however, they quickly found a strong Horde presence there already. To the Order’s surprise they found the Horde working openly with the Loyalists to destroy the Sunnyglade Ratters, who had gone there ahead of the rest of the Alliance. The Order, along with the Assemblage of Uld and Dirge of Teldrassil, intervened to rescue the Sunnyglade Ratters, and even as the Horde and Loyalists started to fight each other, they rescued the mercenaries. Operations against the Loyalist support structure in Lordaeron continued, but the Order quickly found itself in conflict with another one of its supposed allies again. After aiding the Oronaari after the Draenei were ambushed by the Grim Gest, the Sunnyglade Ratters mercenaries demanded payment. Praetor Phaidros first refused, pointing out how the Order came to the Sunnyglade Ratters’ rescue just days before without receiving any compensation either. It was Soulbinder Lazaares then who, in the interest of peace, agreed to pay gold to the Ratters. This however was also not to their liking as the gold given was minted in coins not universally accepted as legal tender. This conflict with the Ratters intensified only when it came to light that one of their Void Elves, Resindra Shadecaller, was once a Sunfury, serving Kael’thas in Outland when they were in conflict with the Draenei refugees. The Oronaari demanded that the Void Elf repents for her crimes, but the elf refused, citing how she had nothing to be ashamed of. In response, Praetor Phaidros decreed that none of the Order of Oronaar shall aid the Sunnyglade Ratters until penance was done. Seeing the unreliability of their allies the Order chose to contact the Horde once more, to seek their aid against the Loyalists. By this time strategy of the Praetor began to bear fruits, as the Loyalists had come to the Hinterlands in a raging fury, leaving behind the fortified positions they held to before. The Horde however refused the Order’s request to strike at the Loyalists as they did before in the Zangarmarshes. According to the Horde, there were attacks on Horde messengers and towns carried out by the Order of Oronaar. Explanations of this having been clearly false-flag attacks carried out by the Loyalists were ignored. The Order returned back to the Aerie without a new ally and was admonished by the other Concordat forces for their attempts to work with the Horde. At the final battle in the Hinterlands, the Horde was still present, but cooperation between Alliance forces and the Horde was non-existent. Still, both forces bore down on the Loyalist position. There however the Loyalist’s own designs were revealed. In the middle of battle, they summoned a giant void abomination that waded through the battle as an invincible behemoth. The victory was only won that day by one of the Horde’s weapons, an arcane device fired from upon a zeppelin, that was able to disrupt the ritual binding the behemoth to this plane of reality.Pheta thones gamera

Allies
Despite a rocky start, these Dwarves have proven to be brave and steadfast friends.
Allies
Whilst not seeing eye to eye on all matters, the Oronaari recognize the plight of the Kal'dorei and Worgen of the Dirge and will assist them whenever possible.
Allies
The Assemblage is considered good friends of the Oronaari, their technical smarts having impressed them time and time again.
Neutral
Cautious allies at first, maintained only by the obscuration of the Seventh’s Sunfury heritage. Sylnaar recently confessed the truth to the Oronari’s Praetor, and seeks to earn the trust of the Draenei.
Neutral
The Order and the Sentry has had more than enough major disagreements In recent times. The Order claiming for the Sentry to have left one of their own to die back on Gloomspire, though whether that is true or not depends on who you’re asking.
Neutral
Not much involvement with this particular group, unknown factor.
Neutral
Not much involvement with these Vulpera. Unknown factor.
Neutral
Not having interacted with the Ardent Pursuit much, the Order considers these Argents an interesting factor, yet to be fully explored. The first contact with this group has been problematic. Unsympathetic to the Oronaari's cause in cleansing Azeroth of the Loyalists menace.
Unfriendly
Considered unreliable, the Order is no fan of the mercenaries from the Sunnyglade Ratters. Their methods in the field of battle are considered uncouth. They also employed a former Sunfury, who has expressed no regrets in their actions.
Unfriendly
Recent events have made clear that Ronin is not the be trusted and is to be considered hostile.
Unfriendly
Not much contact, though their nature as mercenaries makes them untrustworthy in the Oronaari's eyes
Hostile
The Hand of Conquest, representing Orgrimmar, is certainly not an unknown factor to the Oronaari, recent events have made them wary and untrustworthy of the Orcs.
Hostile
The Orcs of this particular group have always shown disdain and hostility towards the Draenei, especially the Lightforged, but for reasons unknown. These Orcs are to be considered hostile.
Hostile
A group which the Oronaari has only encountered once before, in combat. An unknown factor as of yet, still to be considered hostile.
Hostile
Thieving scoundrels, responsible for stealing the Judgement Core of a Warframe. To be considered hostile and held responsible for their thefts.
Hostile
The Trolls of the Painted Shields are to be considered hostile. Their actions have shown their xenophobic ways towards the Oronaari.
Hostile
Attacking the mines of Stonetalon has left a very sour taste, and though they fight more honorably than most, they are still enemies.
Hostile
Defilers of the Light, their actions have proven them untrustworthy and blasphemous.
Hostile
The Blood of Martyrs is certainly not loved by many. The Order considers this group of humans to be ignorant, barbaric, and without shame. Their methods in the Light are considered blasphemy, they are considered heathens and either shown the path or be put down.
Hated
Death Knights, undead, defilers of Auchindoun. Their taint is not to be tolerated and to be cleansed.
Hated
Void Cultists, Loyalists of the Banshee Queen, and all sorts of other dark, malevolent beings, these individuals are to be slain on sight.
Hated
Heathens, defilers, two words the Order would apply to the Eternal Sisterhood. Their blatant worship and use of the Void and their fall further from Elune's grace has made the Order very wary of these Elves. The last straw that broke the Elekk's back, was the defilement of a blessed Naaru, putting these Elves on the Order's Kill on Sight list.
