Abbot Père Simón D'speer
Père Simón D'speer is the Abbot of The Order of Kiwano and leader of The Bling Island Reserve. He is a warm and kind old man who helps those around him as much as he can.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Through meditation and constant exercise, Simón is quite fit for his age. He is very active in the community of the Bling Island Reserve and makes weekly trips to the The Pearl Gates & Pearl Garden to meditate and come up with prayers.
Body Features
Père Simón lost his arm during The Great Mush Massacre. It hasn't impeded him however, he accepted his loss and pushed forward twice as strong.

Simón is always wearing his pearl necklace and earrings. He also carries around a staff to help him walk.

Personal history
Père Simón D'speer grew up in a very small, religious village on the outskirts of Fascal. His father was the high priest of the village, and when Simón would come of age, he would inherit his father's title.
At age sixteen he set out on his pilgrimage to learn from other high priests all across the continent in order to complete his training. During this time, around 0AM, Simón made his way to Enoki Village. The Village was famous for it's peaceful and religious community led by their Abbot: Shii Take.
Simón began Take's teachings, but a lot of what Take taught directly contradicted what Simón had learned over the years. Curious, Simón investigated Take's palace further only to discover Take had been using Kiwano's word to get others to do his own bidding. Through fake stories, unbelievable prayers, and self serving rules, Take had been brain washing the people of Enoki Village. Simón was disgusted, and immediately told the people. Simón was able to get them to follow him up to Take's palace and confront him. Of course, due to Take's charismatic nature and history with the village, he was able to persuade the villagers to his side instead of Simón's. Take banished Simón from the village. Defeated, Simón had no choice but to agree. But before he left, he said the quote that would forever change the village, and eventually, the continent itself.
Right as Simón said this, there was a loud crack of lighting in the sky and a distant boom. Moments later, Pitaya fell from the sky and crashed into Mt. Cukeasaurus, landing directly on Shii Take, killing him instantly (Blinded by Freedom). From there, Simón became Abbot of Enoki Village. A statue of Kiwano was built where Take's palace once stood. Things were peaceful up until 9AM, where Enoki Village would go up in flames. No one knows who was behind The Great Mush Massacre, but the devastation it brought is thought to be one of the worst genocides in history. Simón fought to defend the village and got his arm cut off in the process. Against all odds, Simón survived the slaughter. Whether this was due to luck or other villagers helping him out of the village as he was going unconscious, he is unsure. But he awoke a little outside the village, hidden in a cave with his arm patched up. Simón and the few remaining villagers rebuilt what the could of the village in secrecy, not wanting to attract the attention of whoever was behind the first attack. Around the year 50AM, Simón noticed some people arriving on the continent from the southeast via raft. He learned about the atrocities of Jolly Ranch and the fate of The Bling Islands. He was seeing yet another genocide happen, but this time Simón was going to do something about it. He traveled to the Roripop Kingdom and begged for a meeting with the princess. Eventually he got through to her and was able to strike a deal, receiving aid to build a home for the people fleeing the islands in exchange for partial ownership of this new sanctuary. And that's where he is today, Abbot of the Bling Island Reserve. However, with the Reserve getting bigger and attracting more attention recently, he fears it may get attacked again. The gathering of The Chosen outside the Reserve's borders isn't helping.

Mental Trauma
Simón is constantly on the lookout for danger in an effort to try and protect the Reserve. While he may seem calm and collected, he is on alert at all times.
