Diederich
During the Blood War of the Allirana taking over, the Diederich's came from West Kren and moved into the eastern territory. Among all the confusion they established themselves, and were allowed to stay due to none of the other families having the resources or strength to kick them out.
Because they are from West Kren it is determined by the rank of a family's name of which one get's to be kept. Thus this does not matter to them if a woman or man rules, but since Zenzi Diederich was the first boss coming to Groo they preferred to having the women be the head of the family. Despite their immigration they keep in contact with their Mother family the Kortig, occasionally visiting to keep the ties strong.
The system within the family is mostly the same as the other Ruling families except that they allow alot more women to be on the force. They have an Advisor and an Underboss which they adopted from the Groo government system.
Other than they allow women to rule the other thing that deviates them from the other ruling families is that they take on two spouses. One spouse is usually done from a political tie to another family and the other is more of their personal preference. If a spouse is in equal ranking they will merge the two names together.
So far there has only been once or twice that the Boss ends up marrying both their bodyguards at once.
Along with them four other families also migrated:

These families are the original ones that first came over, but since then other Bear families have trickled in.
