Mustio

Mustio people, often called Grooian, are really friendly as part of there culture. A typical greeting involves a hug and kiss. They are very open about sexuality as well and its not unlikely for good friends to get together regardless of gender, just as a bonding type thing. They don't really believe in personal space or boundaries when to comes to friendship. The Northern Families are a bit more reserved compared to other Grooians, but, to the rest of the world, its hard to tell. The Cayni living among them are much more conservative and have had a long hard battle getting used to the culture.   This tradition of openness and love for one's friends has been severely hampered since Giovanni took over Ara'Groo. He's banned all affection type actions between people of the same sex. The populace isn't sure what all that entails and have become frightened just hugging one another in greeting. Most of the populace feels constricted and chained under his rule because of this. If it wasn't for the what they were in with there neighbors and the technology advances Vonni has given them, it is likely that the people would rally behind one of the other bosses and a clan war would ensue.   Another aspect of the Grooian culture, one that hasn't been suppressed quite as much, is there love for parties. Most reasons for celebrating, such as people's birthdays, baby showers, and anniversaries, have parties that last for days. Weddings usually last at least a week, although the bride and groom often sneak out some were in the middle to start their honeymoon, and the party goes on without them.   Stereotypes Groo people as a whole have a stereotype of being very sex crazed by the other countries. Their friendly greetings and open nature is often misunderstood for sexual advances. They are also considered shrewd and sneaky business people, due to the way Groo politics work.   They see most outsiders as extremely rude, stupid, uncultured, stiff, and unfriendly.

A very sexist culture that sees men as smarter, stronger, and more capable the women. Until recently, women couldn't hold positions of power. Much of the change has been due to an influx of immigrants from West Kren.
