Velliara
The Velliara family is an old Mongoose family that served the Violli up until the Allirana took over. Although the family is old, them ruling is new, therefor they are considered the youngest ruling family.
Although they have not served the Violli in over a hundred years, they still have strong ties with them.
They are overall known for owning the land for and running the production of Ara'Groo's velli (similar to wheat). This includes the production of pasta, bread, crackers, and most other wheat based products.
The Velliara Family is responsible for the production and distribution of Ara'Groo's wheat supplies. They and most of the families under the Velliara work in wheat related jobs.
The Velliara gained family rights in 123ed due to the hard work of their leader of the time, Assai. Assai became the family boss in 97ed at the age of 18. The family was in dire straits after his father, Rischio, gambled away their land and wealth.
Assai and his advisor, Romeo Ricci, were assassinated in 139ed leaving his second, Forrez Genevia, in charge. When Forrez stepped down he followed Assai's wishes by placing Kes Ricci into the boss role.
Kes is the current leader of the Velliara with Assai's daughter, Kalli, as her second.
