Iota

Iota is a sentient soul-construct created in the image of Weiss Willow around 100 years before the end of the 5th Era and the War for the Last Light. Iota is half of Project Forerunner, led by Weiss-II, the other half being Delta.
Iota is a blank slate, compared to the reconstruction used to create Weiss-II, she bares no memory before her birth, nor harbours any of the same flaws as the first or second Weiss. Iota is, for all intents and purposes, a completely new being. She chose to be paired with a soldier of the 117th Legion, to whom she departed three years before the War for the Last Light. She was recovered three weeks into the war by that same soldier, who disregarded orders to make the journey to Zelnach to recover her. She had been examined and interrogated by Rhothaxis, who later used this information to sway Weiss-II to join him. This interrogation nearly broke her, but together, her and the unnamed soldier somehow activated the dormant Hyperium, and walked the Steel-Tower over three-thousand miles to the headquarters of the Alliance of the Dawn. Upon deactivation, the unnamed soldier collapsed into a coma, from which her never woke. 
Iota similarly fell into an unresponsive state. Despite several attempts by Alliance scientists to delete her, Iota remained. It was decided that she would be transferred into Monarch as a contingiency in case Hyperium was unable to neutralise Rhothaxis.
