Founded in Riverport, MA, Monarch is a powerful technology company with unclear goals. Built quickly with dubious money by a man from nowhere, Monarch invested heavily in chronon science and security in nearly equal measures. Particularly observant analysts soon suggested that Monarch was preparing for some kind of large-scale disaster.
They were. Founded by Paul Serene, a man who had survived in the End of Time, Monarch existed for the sole purpose of preparing for the End and reversing it once it hit.
But intense shake-ups in the company's hierarchy following the Fracture of Time have changed Monarch's trajectory. It is now unclear what the future holds for Monarch.
