Children of the Light
The Children of the Light operate as a monastic order throughout Barovia. Centered around The Abbot in Krezk, the churchs in Vallaki and Barovia are led by "Fathers" who raise "Brothers" to uphold the faith of Lathander in the hearts and minds of Barovians.
When a Father passes, any Brothers under his late tutilage confer on who to send to Village of Krezk for The Abbot blessing, ascending him to the rank of Father.
Under the church's protection are also the mongrelfolk of the Abbey of Saint Markovia, taken as chareges by The Abbot as an act of charity and duty.
