Ezmerelda d'Avenir
(a.k.a. Elara Duvall)
Long ago, a Vistani woman came upon a quaint coastal village named Crescent Cove. She fell in love with a carpenter and gave birth to a beautiful, golden haired, hazel eyed daughter, Elara Duvall.
Elara's mother left Crescent Cove when she was young. Elara's father did his best to raise her with love. During her adolescence she and a changeling boy, Vorthos D'Artagnan became sweethearts and the two of them spent day after day laughing and telling each other stories of adventure and sailing. However, one day, Vorthos D'Artagnan left without warning, and just over a week later her father fell ill and passed. With no one left in her life, she followed her heart to the sea and became a pirate, changing her name to Ezmerelda d'Avenir after the name she'd take on while playing with Vorthos D'Artagnan. Eventually she found work under Rudolph van Richten and became his sole student.
Over the years of battle and hunting monsters, she's lost both her right leg and right arm, but both have been replaced by Rudolph van Richten by arcane machines.
