The Hima-Patanya River

The Hima-Patanya River, which roughly translates to River of Eternal Snow, is a river originating at Lake Sinkala that cuts through The Garuda Highlands until it reaches the region of Bashai, where it eventually terminates in The Gulf of Anula. While the parts of the river in Bashai are for the most part easily navigated, the parts of the river crossing through the highlands are extremely dangerous, with countless rapids and waterfalls making it pretty much impossible to navigate. Still, people often take the dangerous journey upstream, as the river has over thousands of years cut through and revealed many of the mountain's treasures, such as precious gems and metals.
