The Kawa River

The Kawa River lies in the middle of Soukoku and splits the region into The Living Plains and Kawa Basin. Before The Yuyan Dominion subjugated The Ulai, The Kawa River served as a barrier, marking the farthest extent that “the civilized folk” of Soukoku had ever reached, and served as a protective barrier from Ulai raidings. Nowadays it connects the sparsely populated north of Yuyan to its heartland down south.
