The Nashan Mountains

The Nashan Mountains are a large Mountainrange in the south of Soukoku and The Living Plains, and separate the lush inland of those regions from the harsh climate and dry winds of The Daga-Kurum Desert. They are home to some of the most dangerous predators of the continent, such as The Daggerfanged Sky-serpent and The Chasmfiend. One might then wonder why people would want to settle here, and the answer is simple: Jade. There is no place on Kashura with such rich deposits of jade as The Nashan Mountains, to the point that over half of the entire continent's supply of jade is mined here.
