The Vishala Plains

The Vishala Plains are a vast flatland in the region of Bashai, stretching from The Garuda Highlands and The Suna Mountains in the east, to The Claws of Tanaak in the west.
They are marked by the dry and wet seasons of Bashai, leading much of the flora and fauna here to be adapted to long periods of drought AND long rainy periods.
While The Vishala Plains are easy to traverse during the dry periods, the ground quickly turns into a waterlogged marshland during the month of Duma (See: The Thaamir Calendar) , making it notoriously challenging to navigate.
