The Zhanglao Woods

The Zhanglao Woods is located in the south-east of Soukoku, nestled against the north-eastern side of The Nashan Mountains. Despite its close proximity to the heartland of The Yuyan Dominion it is poorly developed, sporting no more than a few farming villages and logging camps along its edges.
The reason for this is its namesake, a mighty creature known as The Avaricious Zhanglao, believed by many to be one of The Idanasha, though none know for sure. This creature considers the entire woodland its territory, and kills any and all that try to take from it without offering tribute.
