Weghouse Battlemaker

(a.k.a. Weggy)

The head of the dwarven clerics, or "Forgekeepers," from Mandrazan, the seaside dwarven mining colony located to the east of Saltmarsh, Weghouse Battlemaker ("Weggy" to his friends) was one of the primary advisors to Manistrad Copperlocks, the leader of the kolkhoz. When news of the Sahuagin Menace reached the dwarves, Weggy accompanied Manistrad to Saltmarsh in preparation for The Confluence, a council of those who vowed to oppose the Sahuagin.
In the wake of The Confluence, Weggy accompanied Julio Bengala, Thorongil , and Wayde Les Stoodius - members of the Forever Pumpkin Platoon adventurer's group - to the Isle of Abbey, where he was to evaluate the defensibility of the highly strategic island. Weggy proved extremely useful in the melee that erupted in the abandoned ruins of the Old Essalian mine complex under Abbey, slaying a number of the gorgon Greyeye's minions. Following the success of the scouting mission, Battlemaker remained behind on Abbey to meet the Manistrad Copperlocks and the other defenders of the island.
