Bal' Keghir
Bal’ Keghir has some of the best blacksmiths and metalworkers in the world. It is no wonder that the patron of the realm is Nurn, God of Industry. The people of Bal’ Keghir are very industrious, every town contains multiple blacksmiths many of which are aided by technical innovations such as water wheels or clockwork bellows. The turning of wheels rising of smoke and clinking of hammers is near-constant background noise. This continual hum of activity, the locals call ‘heartbeat of Nurn’.
Demography and Population
Bal' Keghir is predominantly populated by Mountain Dwarves, with smaller populations of Valley Dwarves (Called Gnomes Locally), and Cave Dwarves. There are significant minorities of Stonekin and Redscale Dragonkin. There are around 1 million total population living in a settlements on the surface and great halls under the mountain.
