Bay of Ice

The Bay of Ice freezes thick and solid during the winter, in the summer it is open water. The seasonal nature of the bay means it's controlled fractionally over the year. In the winter when frozen soiled the Vulyl Khanate patrols the ice, as it thins and becomes unsafe the sea belongs to the Icebreaker corsairs and their specialised ships but when the sea is open water the Casati Navy controls the sea with their superior but ice prone ships.
