Chafta

Whilst Chafta created the very first plants, and Daeven the first animals. The truth is that both have contributed equally to filling the world of Achnelia with life. But Chafta rightly believes that by providing living things that mortals need in their daily lives such as cattle and grain, the mortals will come to appreciate their works and thus hand over their souls.   Followers. Chafta enjoys one of the largest followings of any god, as the god of life and farming, many common folks, especially those in rural areas pray to Chafta and devote their souls to them. Even the less devoted still traditionally thank Chafta at the beginning of a meal and when bringing in the harvest and pray to Chafta for the health of their crops and livestock. The only place where Chafta is less important is among societies who depend on the sea or forest for their food instead.   Church. Most rural towns in Achandia contain at least a shrine to Chafta, most larger towns have a church, usually constructed from timber and often adjoining the granary. The largest temples to Chafta are in rural trading hubs where farmers often travel to sell their crops. The clerics of Chafta typically wear Brown and Yellow robes and often decorate their hair with stalks of grain or flowers and when armed tend to wield farming implements, such as sickles, hay forks (tridents) and whips.   Dogma. Enjoy life to its fullest, find joy in the everyday and mundane, help your family and neighbours, never cause undue suffering to others. Celebrate the bounty of nature, the foods, and crops which it produces and gives thanks to those who labour to bring food to the table. Life is a gift from Chafta, stand up to those who would bring life to an untimely end.
