The Sun, Celestial Realm
Like all Realm’s the Sun is a flat disc, but it is larger than most of the other realms. The underside always faces towards Achnelia glows brightly, so brightly in fact that it illuminates the entire world creating the daylight, but it is not hot, the illumination is a warm glow with little effect on temperature.
Only the Celestial Angels and the dead can visit the Sun, there is no way for a mortal to travel there, if one managed to somehow open a portal, the only thing they would achieve by going through it is rending their soul from their body and giving it to the Solar Gods.
The Sun is broken into six equal and distinct sections one for each of the Solar Gods (except Fabenta). The activities available in these areas tend to reflect the personality of the God who rules them. For example, Nurn has many workshops for blacksmiths and other artisans to practice their trade even after death, while Chafta has great gardens the size of forests.
But heaven is not paradise, people are often disappointed to discover that they are not suddenly ‘at peace.’ Mainly the afterlife in heaven tends to be quite mundane, even boring. Figuring out how to amuse yourself for hundreds or thousands of years.
