He is one of the most powerful men in The "Free Cities" , and is one of the leaders of the Alliance. A few years ago the duke was involved in a scandal, wherein it was revealed that his son and heir Ethan had been switched out for a changeling by a witch in his infancy. The real Ethan returned and the changeling fled. While the witch responsible for it all was publicly executed, as demanded by the Church of Sol. The duke is based in the city of Cunaris, in the south of Ciello. He is currently attempting to reconquer the northern half of Ciello, where the Count Reddingfield has raised his banner in rebellion, in support of the Union.
