To the Wolven and other Siblings species, the Parents are like gods that gift the technology they rely on. Considered authorities of the universe, these seemingly omniscient beings arrived from galaxies beyond the Milky Way galaxy with the purpose of spreading their culture and have uplifted all other sapients in the universe. All Parents are not from the same galaxy but appear to have the same powers as the others. Their stated purpose is to create a future that will lead to victory in a fight against a mysterious extra-dimensional threat known as The Other. Eight Parents still reside within the galaxy and communicate with Sibling species through Monitors; if the Siblings are within their favor. Only the parents have the capability to produce much of the advanced tech that the Sibling species rely on and maintain a god-like status amongst Sibling species. The Wolven experienced difficulty communicating with the their patron Parent Romanus after the death of the previous Emperor. Both candidates for succession, Amicus and Cassius, state a need for the Wolven to reconnect with the Parents to better the empire during the trials.
