Jenzure (Gen - Zur)

God of Justice

Jenzure is a God that resides in Astrival, The Domain of Law. He is the most militant of the "Big Three", fighting with more fervor than Orvio and certainly lacking the calm composure of Livenda. Jenzure is frequently described as the vanguard of Astrival, almost always described in every holy text as "The one who charges and strikes first."   Followers of Jenzure nearly always find themselves in military positions or holding strong, militant or even crusade-like beliefs, with Jenzurian Paladins being practically legendary for their tendency to venture out to cleave and smite in the pursuit of justice. Naturally, this makes nonfollowers - especially the less devout or more chaos-worshipping to see followers of Jenzure as zealots and witch-hunters. The fact that there is a rather prominent group of witch-hunters under Jenzure's name certainly doesn't help things.   Of special note, while The Pal'vryn Empire does follow the Astrivalian pantheon as a whole, it is distinctly Jenzure that they rally their banners under more often than not.

Holidays

Jenzure's Charge - Celebrated on the 15th of Astrival's Peak, it is a day that celebrates the beginning of the holy war against the demons of Infernus and Niflheim, with Jenzure supposedly having roused a great and triumphant battle cry before leading his army into the abyss to rid the world of evil. While not particularly celebrated amongst peasantry, nobility tend to have feasts in its honor, and The Blue Star Empire in particular tends to hold its Royal Guard acceptance ceremonies on this day, symbolically suggesting that this is the day their newly trained knights will lead their own charge.
