Livenda

Goddess of Law

Livenda is a Goddess that resides in Astrival. She is the divine embodiment of Law and by far the least militant of the three main Gods of Astrival. While Orvio watches over and defends Astrival's realm and Jenzure goes out to fight its enemies, Livenda oversees the affairs of the realm herself, and as such has a much higher standing than the other two.
While more of an obscure fact, surprisingly enough, it is known that Livenda is indeed the actual mother of Orvio and Jenzure, and the one who raised them both on her lonesome. With her guidance and her rule, both grew into the fine champions of Astrival that they are today, meaning that the main trio of Astrival has always been a family, rather than just a collection of supremely powerful beings.
It is not at all uncommon for there to be discussion of who exactly the father might have been, or if there even was one at all. Some scholars believe it to be the result of an "Overgod", while others balk at the concept of an Overgod even existing in the first place. There are claims of her parentage being from each and every one of the major domains, including Tartarus, but there has never been an answer, no shred of evidence or answered divination that has ever shed light on the matter. 
Followers of Livenda are commonly found within their churches, peacefully tending to matters within or around the city but very rarely going much further than that, earning a much more peaceful way of life than devouts of Orvio or Jenzure. They hold followers of the two in high esteem, though, thanking them for their service and their willingness to go beyond the confines of their home to defend Justice and Order while they uphold Law within the borders. You would be hard-pressed to find a Livendan Priest that wasn't nearly overwhelmingly calm and collected, even in times of great stress, as their strong adherence and belief in Law and its integrity helps keep them confident and assured in their purpose and their sacred duty of maintaining the Law.
Owing to her unique nature as a High Goddess, it is claimed that Livenda is responsible in some way for the creation of Aden, though it unsure to exactly what extent, and mention of such is even likely to have particularly zealous followers of Alnudar and Jilvarif come out in droves just to contest said claims heavily. The fact remains, however, that Livenda is a High Goddess, and such a title is not granted without supreme reason.

Divine Domains

Livenda is the Goddess of Law, embodying everything about fairness, structure, and moral integrity with the will to see it unbroken. She is praised to and called upon to oversee matters of Court and for settling disputes without favoritism for any one side, be it good or evil. Truly, it is even said that her Solars are blindfolded, their eyes unnecessary to be able to ensure that fairness is enforced in Law. It is a point of contention for detractors to state that Astrival cannot truly be Good and Altruistic if Law may potentially "screw over" a pious man. Usually these are the complaints of those with certain beliefs.
Her minor domains are Order and Justice, though she also embodies Knowledge and Peace.
Livendan Clerics are primarily Knowledge, Order, Light, or Peace domain.

Livenda's divine symbol is that of a scale in front of a winged opened book behind it, exemplifying the need for the balance of law and the knowledge required to achieve it.

Tenets of Faith

• Chaos is to be abhorred, for it is with Law that mortal-kind may prosper.
• Knowledge is indeed power, and its words are sacred to understanding the importance of integrity.
• Decrees are to be made with purpose and prosperity, not out of selfish and short-sighted malice.
• In Civilization, we are to be equals. Protectors of Justice, and Sentinels of Order.

Holidays

Livenda's Grace - Often used more judicially then as an actual festival, Livenda's Grace is meant to celebrate the beginning of Astrival Rising - Summer's first day, and the day that Livenda supposedly brought Law to the world.
In practice, it is most often used as a dead-line for Courts and decrees when dealing with major matters of law, and as such, every beginning of Summer is followed by a plethora of changes, additions, or removals of laws and sentences. For the most part, the changes tend to not be too impacting to the life of an average citizen, but things shift quite a bit within noble courts. The phrase "You have until Livenda's Grace to make your choice." Is not uncommon at all, almost to the point of having threatening weight to it, implying that the accused has until then before everything changes.
