The Pal'vryn Empire

Self proclaimed righteous protectors of the world. They have been striving to protect the world from vile creatures such as monstrosities and undead ever since the founding of the nation. The people of the Pal’vryn empire consist of humanoids from various races but the ruling class is mostly held by those with celestial roots. Because of this, they have very strict class and racial hierarchy to the point of racial discrimination towards racial minorities. Not all of the ruling class has this kind of attitude however. The senate governs the law and order of the empire and is divided between 4 houses. The Seat of Guidance establishes the laws of the empire. These laws must first pass through the senate before it becomes official. The Seat of Protection enacts the laws passed by the senate and oversees the order within the empire. The Seat of Knowledge aims to provide education to the people of Pal’vryn. The Seat of Arms serves as the blade of the empire against its enemies. They specialize in combating those that endanger the world’s peace but will not hesitate to fight nations that hinders empire’s creed.   The capital of Pal’vryn, Ald’eine, is located at the east most part of the empire surrounded by mountains which serves as a natural border between it and the Blue star empire. Several domains under the direct rule of the different seats of the senate are also found to the south of the empire which acts as bastion cities that separate the Plague lands from the rest of the world.   House Tyr’nacht from the seat of guidance to govern the south. House Dumnarr from the seat of protection govern the east. House Aes’cornu from the seat of knowledge governs the north. And House Sol’byrn governs the west for the seat of arms.   The area that each of the houses govern are barren save for some areas around the settlements which have been walled in to protect the crops from roaming monsters coming from the plague lands.   Due to a certain incident at the domain of House Aes’cornu a couple of years ago, travel in and out of each of the bastion cities. This incident caused the death of multiple commoners and the daughter of Ninraun Aes’cornu, the current head of house Aes’cornu. He later died due to an attack by the cult that caused the previous incident, turning him into an undead. A group of paladins in training from a different country passing by put the late lord to rest. The domain is now being ruled by Gramwain, eldest son of the late lord, along with his younger step-sister Brara.   The Aes’cornu are aasimar that have reddish brown wings and were present during the founding of the Pal’vryn empire. The family used to serve as a part of the seat of protection but then moved to the seat of knowledge. This is the reason why their family has been chosen as the representatives of the seat of knowledge to govern the area around the plague lands.     Credit for the creation of the Pal'vryn Empire goes to RPGQL

Friendly Terms

The Pal'vryn Empire was actually made up of people from Andrial who thought dealing with the plaguelands was far more important than staying couped up. Naturally, these strong disagreements in policy continue.
