Geography
Much of the island is covered in forest, as the only major settlement of Hiska is located on the southern coast, while its center is dominated by Mt. Virlú (known as Vilatarrú in antiquity). The famed temple complex is located at the foot of the mountain.
The climate is similar to that of southern Gráhúlysía, with summers mild enough to support agriculture and winters rather cold, with snow covering Mt. Virlú's peak most of the year.

Fauna & Flora
Aside from a few species of rodents, foxes and birds, the most notable animal endemic to Annor is the Annoran Deer. The natives believe the deer to be sacred to Þíranis, their main deity, and they will kill those who harm the animals in any way.
