Hapalians

Proto-hapalic: Hapalklól /haphalkhloul/
Hapalians1 were common ancestors of the Amrans, Dardians, Faronians and Rómúkans, all of whom currently inhabit southeastern Adynía. They were of mostly human origin, subsisted on hunting and gathering, and were the most prominent tribe of the Sjorgús Mountains after being driven there by rival tribes from the area around the upper Helkan river.
The hapalians later migrated eastwards in waves due to pressure from a new tribe, ancestors of the Dúnaraz-dwarves and Gartaraz-dwarves, who proved much more capable of traversing the rough terrain and surviving at high altitudes than the natives.
The ones who settled in southwestern Gysikan became ancestors of the amrans, rómúkans and a number of other tribes, the ones who reached the coastal plain of Darden became ancestors of the dardians, and those who settled in Faron became known as faronians.

1Original icelandic: Hapalir, singular: Hapali.
