Rómúkans
Rómúkan: Rómúkigóol
The rómúkans1 are a nomadic and semi-nomadic people in southwestern Gysikan, most of whom live in the area between amran territory to the west, the Zóken Mountains to the southwest, Faron to the south, Krymna to the north and Lerdis to the northwest, and also form a notable minority in Krymna.
They are related to the Amrans and -more distantly- the Dardians and Faronians.
A number of rómúkans have since settled down in the neighbouring country of Krymna, where they now form the majority of its cavalry and have adopted much of the natives' culture and religious practices. In turn, the Krymnans have added the moon goddess Þí (worshipped by rómúkans and amrans alike) into their own pantheon.

History
The rómúkans were once one of several tribes inhabiting western Gysikan, occasionally trading with the ancient Katargysians but were just as likely to steal some their sheep. With the fall of the Paþarían Empire came new tribes from as far as the Wild Mountains and conquered much of the region, pushing the rómúkans further southeast to their current territory.A number of rómúkans have since settled down in the neighbouring country of Krymna, where they now form the majority of its cavalry and have adopted much of the natives' culture and religious practices. In turn, the Krymnans have added the moon goddess Þí (worshipped by rómúkans and amrans alike) into their own pantheon.
Culture
Apparel
Traditional rómúkan clothing consists of little more than tunics or wraparound loincloths made of goatskin, and woolen cloaks. Those living in Krymna usually wear short, linen tunics instead.1Original icelandic: Rómúkar, singular: Rómúki
