History
Lerdis was founded along with Nússa by human tribes who conquered the dwarven Katargysians who once lived in the region. Early in its history, the kingdom prospered by selling precious artifacts and magic crystals looted from the cities, but as the mines and tunnels slowly collapsed or flooded over the years, finding anything of value became increasingly dangerous to the point of not being worth it. Archaeologists and adventures still occasionally visit Lerdis to study and excavate the ruins, most recently around the town of Jaska, with mixed results.Nowadays the kingdom's main source of wealth is taxing caravans passing on their way to and from Goldensands, as well as exporting iron and wool.
