Mt. Yrnassos
Feráan: Yrnassos /ɪrnaːsːɔs/
Mt. Yrnassos1 is the highest peak of Gysikan in eastern Adynía, located in the northeastern part of the region. The Feráans have lived by the mountain for millennia and associate it with the mother goddess Þirdanna, to whom they leave annual offerings on an altar near its peak.
Ice and snow only covers the mountain top during unusually cold winters, during which can make the trek up to the altar treacherous. Beneath the snow line are coniferous shrubs and trees and lower still, olive groves and vineyards, as well as the city of Tmyríka.
