Tárútan Lake
Tárútan Lake1 is a large lake in Lera, the southern part of Gráhúlysía in northern Adynía.
History
A number of different cultures have lived around the lake since paleolithic times, the earliest ones were mostly half-elves but since around 15.000 years ago it's been inhabited by various human tribes hailing from the Wild Mountains, except for a brief period as a colony of the Paþarían Empire. Today, two tribes rule the area; Sorkótans along the northern shore and Rúali to the south.1Original icelandic: Tárútanvatn
