Kingdom of Fisterix
Giant King's Domain
Fisterix is, at its core, a beautiful ancient land full of the rust and decay that comes from lack of upkeep. This aesthetic extends well beyond the physical landscape of the realm, resting deep within the hearts of the people who live within. Poor farmers and foragers struggle against the elements mere miles from the land's eponymous capital city. A city which, though separated from the material plane by a magical portal, bustles as an economic and political powerhouse. Ironically, though it nearly shares a border with Cireth, the two nations do virtually no business with each other. Most scholars cite The Wall as the cause, but that is little more than an excuse to avoid mentioning the ogre in the room. In truth, the Lawbringers and their hate of everything arcane all but prevent any kind of sociable relations between the nations.
Currency
As an economic and arcane hub, Fisterix is full of money changers with up-to-date exchange rates for many of the world's currencies. It is not uncommon to find scales that magically balance different currencies based on their current relevant worth. Of course, scholars debate the accuracy of such devices. Are they truly linked to the absolute relative worth of the currencies? If so, how does the magic define "worth"? While important, these questions can be avoided by simply visiting multiple money changers and comparing relative prices to find a reasonable estimation. Regardless of academic scepticism, there are numerous currencies in use in Fisterix. Foremost of them is the nation's official currency, the Ord.Demography and Population
