Moʻuppuk

Mo'uppuk is a sprawling city located deep in the heart of the Tu'mir jungle and is one of the largest and most prosperous Troll settlements on the continent of Aelluros. The city is a marvel of troll engineering, built entirely out of stone and natural materials such as vines, branches, and woven grass. Despite its seemingly rudimentary construction, Mo'uppuk is a bustling metropolis with towering structures and winding streets that stretch far into the jungle.   The city is divided into several districts, each with its own unique flavor and purpose. The central district is dominated by the towering Miju'pom's Palace, a massive structure that serves as the heart of the city's religious and political life. The palace is home to the current Miju'pom, who is widely regarded as one of the most powerful shamans in all of Tu'mir. From her throne room, she oversees the affairs of the city, dispensing justice and guidance to her people.   The residential district of Mo'uppuk is a maze of winding streets and twisting alleyways, dotted with communal gathering places and small family dwellings. Here, trolls of all ages and backgrounds can be found going about their daily lives, cooking meals, tending to their gardens, and socializing with their neighbors.   The market district of Mo'uppuk is a lively hub of activity, with merchants hawking exotic wares and local produce. Here, one can find everything from hand-carved wooden masks to rare herbs and spices. The market is also the city's primary source of income, as traders from neighboring settlements come to Mo'uppuk to buy and sell goods.   Despite its location in the heart of the jungle, Mo'uppuk is not isolated from the outside world. In fact, the city has a long history of trade and diplomacy with neighboring settlements, including humans and elves. Trolls from Mo'uppuk are often sent on diplomatic missions, negotiating treaties and trade agreements with other tribes and settlements.   Mo'uppuk is not without its challenges, however. As one of the largest troll settlements in Tu'mir, it is a frequent target of raids and attacks by rival tribes and bands of marauders. The city's defenders, however, are among the most skilled and fearsome warriors in all of Aelluros, and they are more than capable of repelling any threat to their city and their people. Despite these challenges, Mo'uppuk remains a shining example of troll civilization and a beacon of hope for all who seek to live in harmony with the natural world.

Government

The government of Mo'uppuk is led by the Miju'pom, a revered figure who serves as both the spiritual leader and the head of the city's political life. She is considered one of the most powerful shamans in all of Tu'mir.   Mo'uppuk's governance is organized around a tribal council composed of elders, shamans, and key figures from various districts and families within the city. They work in collaboration with the Miju'pom to make important decisions, uphold the laws, and ensure that the customs and traditions of the trolls are maintained.   Each district within Mo'uppuk has its own local governance structures responsible for daily affairs. These local leaders align with the central governance to maintain the city's unity and cultural integrity.   The government of Mo'uppuk is actively involved in trade and diplomacy with neighboring settlements. Negotiating treaties, trade agreements, and maintaining relations with other tribes and races are fundamental aspects of their political system.   Despite challenges from rival tribes and marauders, the government of Mo'uppuk ensures stability and prosperity within the city. The balance between spiritual guidance and practical governance has made Mo'uppuk a resilient and thriving community, embodying the essence of troll civilization.
