Decay

Decay is the name given to an enchanted Cloyven Steel dagger. Famously the dagger has been used in a number of assassinations, but no one knows currently where the dagger is.

Magical Properties

A dagger that has the ability to spred Deadman's Blood, which begins to poison the target, only a small knick is needed and the person is dead within a few days

History

It was created in 895 by Jikx the Murderer when he imbued a healthy, living person, an Acolyte from the school and a deadman's tissue, into the weapon in the Sanctum dungeons (something he did multiple times creating eight different weapons and objects). Jikx was later tried and executed by the Order of Maji for his actions.
It was later stolen during Shadow in Sanctum's Night, and has since been used in a number of assassinations over the years, for example, by < Lan the Assassin > in 1083 who used the dagger in a string of killings that ended in him being killed in someone else's castle {which it how it changes hands the first time })
