Sivien Guard
Sivien Guard are the ancient guards of the Jarls of Siv, which over time became the Jarls of Norveil. Officially designated by the Norveil Military as First Batallion, Group One, First Legion, Squad A, or 111A. There are twelve guards on duty at any given time, six who carry spears and six who carry axes.

There are 50 Guards total, all chosen by the Jarl themselves.
Weaponry
- Bearded Axes - Six are armed with these.
- Spears - Six are armed with these.
- They all wear full suits of armor.
Structure
Sivien Guard Commander is the sole commander of the Guard, and reports directly to the Jarl.

Logistical Support
The Sivien Guard live in the Greystone Keep and are fully provided for when not on duty.
Recruitment
New guards are only ever chosen to replace fallen guard, and the new recruits are chosen by the current Great Jarl.
History
The Sivien Guard began as the unit within the < Sivien City Guard >. Once the Norveil Jarldom was created, the Sivien City Guard was limited in jurisdiction to the city itself, Greystone Keep now being under the control of the national military. The first Jarl Helga Medvidev, not willing to lose her personal guard settled that the Sivien Guard should be considered a seperate elite unit outside of the city guard, and should remain the then and future protecting unit of the Jarls of Siv and Norveil.
