Southern Jungles
Demography and Population
The Southern Jungles are home to two main sentient groups: the tabaxi tribes and the yuan-ti cult. The tabaxi tribes live nomadic lifestyles ranging from seasonally to fully. They are typically divided by subspecies (ie tigers or lions) but some tribes are a mixed group. The yuan-ti live in an isolated section of the jungles and shun contact with the outside except during raids for sacrifices or slaves. In their section of the jungles they have built large temples to their god Apep.
Religion
The tribes follow several different religions and the yuan-ti all worship Apep.
Foreign Relations
The tabaxi are welcome within the surrounding areas as interesting travelers and good trade partners. The yuan-ti are viewed with nothing but suspicion and fear.
Agriculture & Industry
There is no large scale agriculture as both groups are carnivorous. Instead they hunt and forage as needed.
Trade & Transport
The tabaxi trade goods from the jungles for manufactured goods and other objects of interest with the other races.
Education
Most people of both races learn to read, but only the yuan-ti have a formal education system.
