Holy Plains
Structure
Each cult has its own independent area with settlement and farmland and is within a certain section of the Plains based on its pantheon.
Foreign Relations
The Holy Plains maintain a positive relationship with all of its neighbors because all people are expected to come to the plains for any religious purpose as temples are banned outside of the Holy Plains.
Agriculture & Industry
The Holy Plains are very fertile and so each temple controls vast farmlands where they grow a variety of crops.
Trade & Transport
The Holy Plains trades its produce with the Mortal Kingdom and the Southern Jungles in exchange for exotic ingredients and manufactured items. It imports luxury goods from the Elven Kingdom but exports nothing there in return.
Education
The people here are given at least a basic religious education and may receive more depending on their role in the temple.
Mythology & Lore
There are three pantheons represented in the Holy Plains. These are the Egyptian pantheon, the Greek pantheon, and the Minurian pantheon. All the mythologies of the different pantheons begin when the gods first stepped onto Aerenal. There are no world creation myths.
Divine Origins
The Holy Plains is believed to be the place the gods first set foot on the continent of Aerenal and so it was established as the religious center of the continent. The only settlements allowed in the area are those connected to the temples.
