Thane Orsik Steelfist
Orsik Steelfist is the Thane of Shardhold, the capital of the Earth Dwarves in Denethen's Helm. He is a great believer in the duties of Earth Dwarves as the first line of defense, both militarily and diplomatically. He has a large family, with many sons to take over when he is gone. His wife has passed many years ago, but it only strengthened his resolve to make Shardhold the pinnacle of Dwarven culture (at least in the north).
Thane Orsik appreciates the position of King Kilvar Frostbeard of Deep Delve but he does not rally to his leadership as king. He maintains his devotion to Forgehome and Shalehaven and feels the tradition of Thane to King under the The Barrier Guard of Denethen is even more important to maintain given the distance of the two locations.
