Clerics and paladins are more attuned to their god, especially in the Divine Aspect. At 1st level clerics and paladins choose their deity and receive that god’s Divine Grace. When you reach 2nd level your Divine Grace gives you a channel divinity that replaces the turn undead feature that clerics normally get, and one of the channel divinity options that the paladin gets from their oath. *
