Republic of Garyk

This republic is controlled by the Four Dukes. It is largely accepted that Garyk is the richest country and has the strongest human military.

The Four Dukes of Garyk

The leadership of the country is comprised of four Dukes or Dutchesses which are appointed by a selection committee comprised of business leaders, religious figures, and high ranking officers. Typically, a Duke serves a term of ten years, though it isn't uncommon for a Duke to be reappointed or to step down due to unrest. In governing matters, if a decision is split between the Dukes, the tie breaking choice goes to the Archmage of Garyk.
