The Silver Fang

A deadly assassin of The Dark Thorn who specializes in speed, stealth, and the use of short, light blades.

It is said that during training of the great assassin, the leader of The Dark Thorn was surprised at the raw skill the pupil had within him and took it upon herself to expand his talents until he was the greatest swordsman the world has ever seen. For his final test, he was sent on a mission to Cragclaw Pointe. There, he was hunted by the mythical beast "Silver Fang", a huge white sabertooth tiger.
In one version of the tale, the assassin bested the great beast as he proved his incredible speed to be even greater than the fierce monster and his own dual "fangs" to be more lethal.

In another version, the two adversaries stalked each other until a confrontation drew blood from each. Upon recognizing the skill of the other, the two stood face to face with their "fangs" drawn. Showing no fear, the two respectfully bowed and parted ways.
Once he returned from his mission, he was granted his status in The Dark Thorn. And in being the only person to ever face the Legendary "Silver Fang" Tiger and survive, he was then named The Silver Fang. He was given a tattoo to commorate his achievement and cement the glory of his name.
If one is to ever question the true identity of the assassin, it is known that the true identifier of the man is the tattoo on his right forearm given to him by The Dark Thorn, the image of the mythic "Silver Fang" Sabertooth Tiger.

The Prather Prowler

It is believed that The Silver Fang made his home in the port city of Prather for a time as he was revealed at a local tavern. The weeks that followed were a dark time in the city's history as a string of ghastly murders began to take place. Near the victim, there would often be a blood smear of the Silver Fang Tiger for which the assassin was named. Many of the fallen were considered connected to Fate's End or The Dark Thorn. A kill on sight order was issued for The Silver Fang by the city's guard as other deaths across the city began to be attributed to the assassin. The gruesome spree hit it's peak at the time of the great fire of Prather. An arson flame spread to nearly half of the city, killing many. It's epicenter was believed to be the secret hold of Fate's Endand that none of its members survived.

Following the events of the fire. Word spread to many ports across to world, the fury of The Silver Fang was unrivaled. His name would haunt every port town and some inland cities as well, often receiving credit for any bloodly murder. Many cities' guards were informed of Prather's plight and were to keep a watchful eye for the man who garners the tattoo as to not let the same fate befall their cities.
Rumors and vague sightings carry the name. Drunken tales echo in taverns. Fishermen and port families invoke his name to frighten children, "For in any shadow, The Silver Fang could be waiting to bring your 'Fate's End.'"
