The Archon of the High Tower was the title bestowed to the master of the High Tower in Ishalond upon the isle of Liadon. The title was considered a great honour and given only to the greatest magi of the land until their death due to the power of the High Tower. The wielder of the title typically wielded significant political influence and acted as a de facto head of state within the Liadonic Magocracy.
