The High Tower

The High Tower was a superstructure in Ishalond on the island-continent of Liadon. Centered at a nexus of power the High Tower allows a powerful wizard attuned to its energy to project incredible magical power greatly beyond their own natural abilities.
The High Tower was responsible for the successful isolationism of the Liadonic Magocracy as it allowed them to conjure great magical threats against any hostile fleet or foreign force that might seek to sully their halls. The Archon of the High Tower was the title bestowed upon the ruler of the landmark and served as an elite member of the Magocracy .
