Battle of Maisondeux
The Battle of Maisondeux was a major conflict in the Great Annihilation waged in the county of the same name. As a result of the battle the Great Horde was shattered paving the way for their eventual defeat. The battle also saw the alleged demise of the Grand Vizier Profundis Rax.
The battle itself saw the Imperial Army led by Emperor Ezio Rodorian meet the Great Horde arriving from the south led by the Warlord Guvrash of the Wastes. Unbenownst to the Warlord a second army also travelled to the field led by Profundis Rax and King Julian de la Morte.
Whilst the Emperor engaged the core the second army struck the flanks of the horde forcing them against the now flooded Great Forest until the Horde was trapped between the two armies and the lake. In a desperate counterattack the Warlord Guvrash was slain by Emperor Ezio Rodorian breaking the morale of his forces as many attempted to flee into the lake drowning in the process.
