Great Forest of Falarin

The Great Forest of Falarin was an enormous woodland area that stretched across the centre of the continent. It was divided into the woodland regions of Mandabar in the north and Vostros in the south. It was central to the economies of near every state of Falarin during its existence providing significant wood reserves for the assorted needs of its citizens. 
The Great Forest was destroyed by Profundis Rax during the the Great Annihilation. Rax used the Eye of the Ocean to flood the woodlands in order to stop the advance of the Great Horde who sought to cut straight through the woods to strike at Rolén. Though the effort was successful it costs hundreds of thousands of lives from the woodland folk and devastated the woodland to a state of disrepair from which it would never recover thereafter becoming known as the Great Lake.
