Falaran

Falaran is the supranationality of those from the subcontinent of Falarin. They are the dominant ethnicity of the Falaran Empire and while the separate states within the Empire show distinct differences in cultural norms and customs there are some general common traits.
Falarans tend to be more hierarchical in their view of the world particularly in relation to the entrenchment of the feudal system and the prevalence of nobles. Racial hierarchies also come into this play with Humans taking a dominant position and other races tiered into a system that became law under the Falaran Empire. 
Falaran's recognise the family as the central family unit and often consult their most senior elder for guidance throughout their lives. It is expected that the patriarch/matriarch of a family will take care of his kin in the event of disaster and those who commit kinslaying are considered the worst of murderers.
